About The Artist

Andy is from the North of England, but now calls New Zealand his home, based outside of Auckland along the beautiful Pōhutukawa Coast. He enjoys all creative arts and is most passionate about the different forms of visual art. Having spent over a decade in education prior to starting a more serious art adventure, he has spent many years producing work for friends and family before starting to display works in local exhibitions and taking commissions. Working mainly in the fields of Abstract Expressionism and Contemporary Artwork, he also enjoys Portraiture, Landscapes and Photography. Andy's paintings are mainly in acrylics however his recent works are exploring the use of oils and other mixed media.
